Have u seen a solar eclipse? the complete one..
In an eclipse, first there is light, the sun shining bright until the moon comes over and covers it up completely, stays for somtime and then the sun shines bright again.
The period of darkness, when the sun gets covered is the time that heroes becomes powerless (if you seen heroes season - 3 that is). In many ways we are all Heroes too in our lives, trying to save the world around us. But then there is the eclipse, a time where we become powerless, weak and our capabilities reach their lowest. I have now come to believe that this eclipse happens in our lives too and we all loose our powers simultaneously.. I look around to see shrr, saan, myself, mahima, avanish... and it jut confirms..
The period of darkness, when the sun gets covered is the time we become weak and this is the time that fully tests us. For this period defines what we truely are and what shall be our choices. Bring out the worst and the best amongst us and in us.. But the path for heroes still remains the same- the difficult ones - the ones that define us because it is not the powers that make us powerfull but our choices and how we go about it. We are heroes because we are better people from within and make all our choices accordingly. We stay put because we know its just a period of eclipse and that at the end of it there is light again. We persist and that only makes us better..
its a transition phase badri, all around us and in us.. now whats left to see is how we come out of it - changed or unchanged,what we choose to hang on to and what we let go, for better or for worse.
ReplyDeletei believe ppl are always doing the best they can, given their unique situation which no other can ever completely understand. Then its upto us to decide if that best is good enough for us, make a choice and here again we make the best choice possible for us at that time, given our unique situation..
its easy to hang around the heroes with all their power and protection, ur substance emerges in helping the fallen ones get back up on their feet. so i guess u need an eclipse once in a while, just to see who gets by the momentary darkness, to allow the sun a breather post which it has the choice to shine brighter than ever, in those moments discarding the darkness we all have within us.

Quite something you have said there and to tell you the truth I love it... I never thought of it that way... its a new perspective... a new dawn after each night.. thats what we have to wait for..

ReplyDeletewe give out best given our knowledge, understanding, motivation, priorities, emotional state etc.at that time. so if we honestly knew n understood tht we could do better and how, we would probably do it.
