A friend if mine told me once abt the time when she was goin through a breakup- She used to jog, play tennis, worked continuously and physically exhausted herself. She said it helped her in two ways -> one by exhausting herself, she was able to get through the day without thinkin so much abt him or the breakup. And Second that the pain, exhaustion and the fact that she kept pushing herself came as a pain reliever for her heartache.
I still remember when i was reading Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" ->the character 'Silas' would keep a "sharp object" (cant remember what it was) tied to his thigh. The pain moved him. helped him test his faith. Somewhere, I could understand why that pain was important to him.
Once you have driven yourself up against the wall completely, you stop...... and seek peace.... And then you move on.....
Right now, for me, the pain feels good....
True man... Pain pushes u to keep moving...
ReplyDeleteAfter a point, u don't feel the part of ur body (e.g. legs while jogging, although I don't jog!)... That is the time when it really Feels awesome... Forces u to keep pushing urself to the point where u can't feel anything, neither good nor bad...
Feels really Good...
